Privacy and networking #

Chat content and command arguments are not stored by default. IP addresses are salted and hashed by default with a private key generated for that installation. Discord reports are disabled by default and only contact the Discord webhook configured by the server owner; the address must start with https://discord.com/api/webhooks/.

Support fingerprint #

BuiltByBit injects a unique nonce into marketplace downloads. VelorJourney converts that value into a short one-way support fingerprint, shown by /journey version. It never contacts a license server and never disables a server because an external service is unavailable.

Developer API #

VelorJourneyApi is registered in Bukkit's services manager. JourneyStepCompleteEvent and JourneyCompleteEvent are fired on the player's owning thread and expose immutable journey and progress snapshots.

When reporting a problem, include the server software and version, Java version, the VelorJourney version from /journey version, the affected journey or config file and the output of /journey doctor.
